4 males – 4 females
Out of the “H’ litter Bozeeb Hot Harley – HARLEY - was a very nice dog and went to a show home. However, due to incorrect feeding by us and the new owner he developed pancreatic unsufficiency and didn’t continue with his show career. At that time we were not aware of the damaging effects of dry food. We kept Bozeeb Hot Rod – CHEVVY – but he failed his hips by a small margin and had very weak, badly spread feet. So he too went to a pet home.

Gardony Erwin x Flodric Ambelle
3 males – 1 female
For this litter Flodric Ambelle was leased from Gunther Krause who ran a Schutzhund club at Frankston. We had earlier trained Bo under him. At this time attack training was not illegal in Victoria. The litter was bred for working ability, temperament and intelligence.

The Lonestar Litter
August 29 th 1994
Anklann Hussar – OMEGA x Bozeeb Gypsy Woman – GYPSY
This litter was not whelped at our place and therefore we had very little control over how Gypsy was fed prior to conception and during the gestation period. Consequently only one of 11 pups survived.
We called him:

The rubbish bin litter!

CH Applaude Von Rassehund - KANTO (Imp NZ) x Bozeeb Foxy Lady - FOXY
1 male
This is when we first became aware of the consequences of incorrect diet. Foxy had suffered from skin problems prior to the mating. She was on a diet of mainly dry food. She came into season and went straight out again and came in a month later when we mated her. She had one male and one female, both sables. The female was dead at birth and the male could not be revived. So, after exhaustive efforts failed to produce signs of life I wrapped him in newspaper and put him in the big rubbish bin at the front of our property. We then took Foxy to the vet and two hours after the birth, as we returned, we heard the puppy crying in the rubbish bin. When I dropped him in he had fallen down past all the rubbish right to the bottom and the jolt must have been the factor that kick-started his heart and lungs. It was 3am in the morning and I hastily threw rubbish from the bin all over the nature strip to reach him. I introduced him to Foxy. He was very strong and straight away tucked in for a feed. However, at around 12 months of age he suffered from a severe skin problem and eventually had to be put down. A dietary deficiency had been passed to him from his Mother. The womb cannot supply minerals which are lacking in the body!
Hence, due to his circumstances of birth he was called-

March 8 th 1995.
CH Applaude Von Rassehund - KANTO (IMP NZ) x Tainuis Foxys Forte – TESS
5 males – 4 females
After the puppy in the rubbish bin saga we changed to the BARF diet.
And, because FOXY had just 2 pups to him we were entitled to a repeat mating. However, it can take up to 12 months to counteract the deficiencies caused by poor diet. So we decided to mate TESS to the New Zealand dog. Unfortunately, 3 of the 5 males in this litter were monorchids! This seems to have come via the male line as the Sire has produced monorchid and cryptorchid pups to other unrelated bitches from various kennels. I heard this whilst speaking with people who had used KANTO over their bitches. Apparently, this condition can be caused by a lack of certain minerals and vitamins in the Sires diet too. Since this litter there have been no other monorchid puppies in Bozeeb litters.

CH Iniff Vagrant – TRAMP x Bozeeb Foxy Lady – FOXY
5 males – 3 females
This was a very nice litter with overall strong bone and colour and lovely temperaments. From here came our first confirmation CH. Bozeeb Jacko Hearts – JACKO - Class 1 and a Class 2 bitch Bozeeb Jacqueline – ZENA – who was Graded Excellent and later joined the Victorian Police Dog Squad. Bozeeb Jacquenetta also had great potential and went to a show home. Unfortunately she was baited and died at age 7 months.
