At the end of August, when pups from this litter were ready to go to homes, there were 89 registrations of litters for German Shepherd Dogs in the Victorian Canine Association Gazette in one month. In fact registrations remained high for all of 1986 and through the years ’87 and ’88. The stock-market crash in the U.S in 1988 sent the world into recession. This had an immediate effect on the breeding of pure bred dogs. The numbers of litters in the Gazette plummeted each month until, at the present day, there are just 10 to 12 German Shepherd litters each month.
The aforementioned over-breeding of German Shepherd Dogs in the years before 1989 made it extremely difficult to sell our pups even though they had far better temperaments than many others on the market at that time. The price we asked was $250 and we still had four pups left at 4 months of age. So the price was dropped first to $100 then to $50 and the last puppy was free.

OUR FIRST LITTER was in 1985 sired by BO (Lowliet King Cass) and the dam was PENNY (Lowliet Lady Laine).
There were 4 male pups: 3 black & tan and one sable.
I can’t exactly recall whey we started with “B” instead of “A” I guess it had something to do with not wanting people to know it was our very first litter!

3 males – 2 females:
Bozeeb Cherry Blossom was sold to Ruth Waddington and in 1989 she had a litter to Manprince Aristocrat (a Hasenway Putz son). In that litter was a very nice sable bitch (Kalaben Arctic Lady – BELLA) that Graded Very Good in Intermediate Class at the German Shepherd Dog Club Championship Show. Unfortunately her owner did not continue with her show career. In hindsight it was a shame she was not Breed Surveyed and didn’t have a litter to continue that line.

We have two “A” litters. The reason for this is very profound and esoteric! Maybe some time in the future I will write about it in the “STORIES” section of the website!
Bozeeb Aarons Light lived 15 years and 4 months!
There were quite a few Bo sons and daughters who lived to 14 and 15 years. Bo was 13 years and 11 months when he died.
